ENTRA: Whole-Systems Energy Transparency ENTRA is a 3-year research project funded by the EU 7th Framework Programme Future and Emerging Technologies (FET). The project is now completed, running from the 1st October 2012 to the 31st December 2015.  This page continues to make available the documents and software produced during the project.

The aim of the ENTRA project is to promote “energy-aware” software development using advanced program analysis and modelling of energy consumption in computer systems. The project will facilitate predictions of energy consumption to be made early in the software design phase, thus enabling the development of greener IT products.
